Change default currency in QuickBooks Online for deactivated multi-currency feature

To change the default currency in QuickBooks Online, here are the steps you must follow. Going through the steps successfully will help you to Change Home Currency in QuickBooks.

• Click on the Gear icon at the top and choose Account and Settings.
• Move to Advanced option and choose Currency.
• In the Currency Column, press Edit.
• A drop-down menu appears next to the Home Currency column, choose the currency you want to change from there.

Start Over with your Account to Choose Currency for a QuickBooks Account

1. Click on Settings.
2. Select Account and Settings and press Billing and Subscription.
3. Hit on the Cancel option which is available in the QuickBooks section.
4. Go through the steps as they come to cancel the account.
5. For third party applications like payroll, cancel them as well.
6. Now with the same id and password login and start a new company file with the currency you wanted to set default.

Delete the Company data if it is less than 60 days old

1. Sign in to the QuickBooks Online account.
2. In the URL that you see at the address bar Delete everything after the last / (symbol) and type PurgeCompany.
3. Confirm the deletion by typing Yes.
4. Choose Wipe Data.

You can later start with a new company file and choose the currency for a QuickBooks account.
